The Holme Bistro opened in February 2006, but Robson Don Catering Services took over the business in January 2008. This is our first business so we are a very young partnership, with brother and sister chefs Rob Don and Kirsty Robson, in charge in the kitchen.
Both have worked in catering and hospitality for almost the last ten years with time spent in Finland, Martha’s Vineyard, Sharrow Bay, Slaley Hall, and locally. Rob specialises in starters and main courses with Kirsty specialising in desserts.
The bistro can accommodate parties of up to 24 people and is therefore ideal for small birthday parties, office parties, christenings or weddings. We change our menus regularly and are proud to source our food locally.
Our aim is simple - to provide the people of Denton Holme, Carlisle and Cumbria with a memorable and enjoyable dining experience. We want to create the best food from the freshest ingredients served by enthusiastic happy front and back of house staff. |
